Diva Meshia is a full-time botanical artist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Started her career as a Graphic Designer in 2012 and in the same time she also started botanical-inspired pattern on her free time. In 2022, she decided to quit her day job as a Creative Director, because she realized botanical art is her true calling. She never regretted her decision ever since.

Diva Meshia is specializing in botanical subjects. She chose botanical realism to communicate and educate people about plants. For her, a great botanical art successfully combines scientific accuracy with visual appeal. As a self-taught botanical artist, she found her way to learn botanical world at The Bogor Botanical Gardens, Bogor, Indonesia. For her medium, she’s very comfortable using the classic way of colored pencil, followed by graphite and watercolor. 

She actively participate in botanical exhibitions, nationally and internationally. Some of them are ESOK Jakarta Biennale - Indonesia (2021), Pengembara Molek Cỏ Cắc Cớ ꦏꦼꦝꦪꦺꦴꦃꦲꦤ꧀ꦠꦩꦸꦮꦒꦸ - Indonesia(2022), Flora of Southeast Asia (FSEA) - Singapore (2022), FLORA of Southeast Asia - Vietnam (2023), Ragam Flora Indonesia 4 - Indonesia (2023).

She is also an active member and creative designer in IDSBA (Indonesian Society of Botanical Artists).
